The Complete Poetical Works of Percy Bysshe: A Dirge
A Dirge
[Published by Mrs. Shelley, "Posthumous Poems", 1824.]
Rough wind, that moanest loud
Grief too sad for song;
Wild wind, when sullen cloud
Knells all the night long;
Sad storm whose tears are vain, _5
Bare woods, whose branches strain,
Deep caves and dreary main,--
Wail, for the world's wrong!NOTE:
_6 strain cj. Rossetti; stain edition 1824.
