In the Pauper's Turnip-Field: In the Pauper's Turnip-Field

In the Pauper's Turnip-Field

Of yon charred hemlock, grimly dead,

Here in homily of my hoe.
The hoe, the hoe,
My heavy hoe
That earthward bows me to foreshow
A mattock heavier than the hoe.
